  • Finally a positive look at ADHD in kids!

This little book packs a big punch in creating a sense of positivity and inner strength around a diagnosis of ADHD in kids. While this can often be a scary time for kids having a tool like this book to help explain some of the more positive aspects of ADHD is definitely one every parent or caregiver should have!

  • The Book That Made My Daughter Proud to Be Herself

Discovering this book was a breath of fresh air for both my daughter and me. Unlike many stories that focus on the struggles of a diagnosis, this one celebrated uniqueness and positivity. It taught my daughter to see her condition not as a limitation but as a part of her unique identity. The book’s positive outlook and empowering message provided a much-needed confidence boost, encouraging her to embrace and be proud of her differences. It's more than a story; it's a tool for self-acceptance that has made a real difference in her life. A very cute and easy read!

  • My Daughter’s Favourite Book

As a parent of a child with ADHD, finding "ADH-ME" by K.C. Field has been a game-changer for our family. This book is not only a weekly staple for my daughter, who absolutely adores it, but it's also a source of newfound confidence for her. The illustrations captivate her imagination, and the positive, celebratory tone of the book has given her a much-needed boost in seeing her unique traits as strengths rather than obstacles. "ADH-ME" is the first book we've encountered that is unapologetically uplifting about ADHD, and it's made a significant impact. It was an eye-opener to realize just how much my daughter needed to hear the messages this book promotes. The joy and self-acceptance it has fostered in her are profound. Thank you, K.C. Field, for creating a book that truly celebrates children with ADHD and helps them see their incredible potential. Highly recommend to any parent seeking empowering and positive representation for their child!

  • Not just another brick in the wall

Thanks for writing such an uplifting book. In a time of overzealous labelling and human automaton production, we need kids who can utilize their full innate capacities and who can shine a light unburdened by social conditioning and rigidly defined adult expectations.

In a rush to medicalise a problem, many have forgotten the impressionable little person in their midst. As medico's, teachers, parents, all adults are every child's teacher. A person full of unseen, unexpected potential. A child given the chance to arrive at their fullest potential, becomes a powerful, well adjusted adult

Your books, intelligently designed for boys and girls as separate books, re establishes the balance of power back where it should be, with the child and his/her endless scope for evolution, development and happiness. Your books also show that kids have special powers at their disposal. Powers that are so imaginatively illustrated in your books.

Well done and thanks for shining a positive light into the lives of parents and young children seeking empowerment.

  • This book provides a crucial building block for kids to start understanding themselves and their amazing brains.

Research over the years has shown that kids with ADHD receive an average of 20,000 negative comments before age 12 (Barkley, Dodson, etc.), and this “feedback” comes from friends & family but also from teachers and other adults. The world we live in is not designed for neurodivergent people, and the toll it takes on the self-esteem of ND folks when they are children lingers into adulthood and can have lasting life altering consequences. Understanding and awareness are the first steps to helping lift these kids up instead of trying to stuff them in boxes in which they simply don’t fit and then criticizing them for not wanting to stay in those boxes.

This is a great book to start reading to kids who can’t read yet. The rhymes and colorful animated illustrations facilitate reading alone for kids that wish to read independently as well.
